I just became a ‘Body Shop At Home’ consultant so that I can earn a little bit of Dosh™ and also share Body Shop things with my friends! When you become a consultant, it’s recommended that you buy one of their ‘Beauty Kits’ which has a huge range of products in it that you can use to demonstrate at parties, or simply just for your own use so you can do reviews etc. I thought it would be a fun idea to share with you what I got in my Beauty Kit – and then if you’re also interested in becoming a consultant or hosting a party, you can message me!
Beauty Kit
1. Hemp Hard Working Hand Protector
Yesss, hand cream! I love The Body Shop hand creams so this was perfect to receive in my kit! I haven’t ever owned this one before but my Grandma does, so I already knew what it was like. It’s very good for super dried out hands!
2. Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel
I also love The Body Shop shower gels and I have owned a few in previous years! I received a fairly large bottle in my kit, which it great! Although I have to save some for Bath and Body Party use, I may be sneaking a drop or two into my baths as well. Did you know, the shower gel can also double up as bubble bath – RESULT!
3. British Rose Body Scrub
I’ve had body scrubs before, but never Body Shop ones. I’ve also never tried this scent before but I really like it! It’s a nice and light floral scent and it’s enriched with real rose petals! I can’t wait to try this out and also share it at a party!
4. Coconut Body Butter
I feel like the Body Butter is one of The Body Shop’s really iconic products. I’ve had Body Butter from The Body Shop before, the strawberry one to be specific, and they’re really nice products! You only need a tiny amount so this huge pot is going to last me such a long time – even with parties! I’ve never had the Coconut one before, but I’ve tested it out and it’s actually very very nice! The scent isn’t overly nutty or overpowering so if you’re not a fan of nuts, you still may take a liking to this product!
5. Japanese Cherry Blossom Strawberry Kiss Fragrance Mist
I love a body spray so I was excited when I found this in my kit! It’s a nice, light fragrance and so it is perfect for everyday wear!
6. Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
I never had anything makeup-y from the Body Shop before so a few of the products are real firsts for me! I’ve just begun using Micellar Water to remove my makeup rather than makeup wipes so this Eye Makeup Remover looks super intriguing! I’m excited to try it!
7. Vitamin E Cream Cleanser
I currently use Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser, but this product looks very similar so I’m excited to see how it compares – especially as I’m almost out of the Milky Jelly Cleanser!
8. Vitamin E Hydrating Toner
I’ve never used a face toner before so, again, I’m super excited to try this out! I’m not entirely sure what toner does, I’m hoping it may help my spots a bit!
9. Vitamin E Moisture Cream
This is essentially a moisturiser, which is good because I like moisturisers. I’m yet to try it on my face but the swatch of my hand felt super soft and, as the name suggests, moisturising!
10. Rose Dewy Glow Face Mist
I’ve just got into the whole face mist thing so I was super excited when I found this! It’s a cooling and hydrating mist and I think it can also be used as a dewy finish setting spray! It has a nice scent and it’s super refreshing ahhh!
11. Drops Of Youth: Youth Concentrate
I don’t really have much use for this product right now, but I’ve heard some very good things about it. Apparently it does wonders for your skin!
12. Himalayan Charcoal Face Mask
I’ve never tried a Body Shop face mask so I’m very excited to try this!
13. All In One Instablur
I think this product is basically like a primer. I do makeup quite a lot so I’d like to test this out – I’ve heard it’s very good! I think it looks quite cool so I’m quite excited for this as well!
14. Fresh Nude Beauty Balm
This product is much like a light foundation/tinted moisturiser (BB Cream). I’ve got the colour medium fair which might be slightly too dark for me, but I’m not really sure yet as I haven’t tried it on my face!
15. Bronzer
I say that it’s a bronzer, but this little palette I received could easily be used three ways, as a bronzer, highlighter and a blusher! It’s split into several different shade, hence why it’s so versatile. I haven’t used this yet but I’m looking forward to having a play with it!
16. Blusher & Eyeshadow Brush
I haven’t used either of these brushes yet but I have had a look at them. They feel super soft and I think they’re going to be really nice to use!
17. Cotton Rounds
These are perfect for using with the cleansing products and they’ll also be handy to have at parties when sharing products out!
18. Plastic Spatulas
These are so you don’t have too many hygiene issues in parties! They’re perfect for picking up a small part of product!
19. Order Forms, Invitations and Catalogues
You get a huge pad of order forms so your customers can fill out their orders at parties which is handy so you can use them when ordering their products! You also get a huge stack of invitations to use for parties and a pile of glossy catalogues to distribute during parties!
20. Bag
Finally, you get a tote bag which is perfect for storing all the goods in!
I hope you enjoyed this fairly lengthy blog post about what’s included in The Body Shop At Home Beauty Kit! If you want to see some of the products I’ve linked a YouTube video below. You can also join my Body Shop at Home FB group for more info as well 🙂
