It’s been a minute since I last did a Q&A here. I thought now would be an ideal time as I’m heading into a very busy part of my life! I asked on Instagram and Twitter for some questions and this is what you came back with:
Q1 How Long Have You Been Doing Gymnastics?
I have been doing gymnastics for about 5.5 years. I go to two gymnastics clubs and I started one in March 2014 and I began the other in July 2017. I was at a small gymnastics club previously (roughly November 2013) whilst I was on the waiting list for my main club. I have always had an interest in trampolining and gymnastics though, I did my first somersault on the trampoline when I was 10 or 11 years old!
Q2 What Are You Hoping To Study At University?
Firstly, I’m hoping to start uni in September 2020 and I’m planning to study either Biomedical Sciences or Nursing – but I’m also looking at Nutrition and Physiotherapy.
Q3 What Are Your Plans For The Next Year?
I’m not entirely sure what context this question is in, so I’ll give you a quick run-down of everything. Firstly, I’m planning to complete my Psychology and Photography A Levels, and then start my second year of Biology A Level at my current college in September (becoming a third/repeat second year student). Then, on my super reduced timetable (only having roughly six lessons a week [I currently have 13/14]), I hope to throw myself deeper into the world of blogging, YouTube and gymnastics alongside having a job or even getting some valuable clinical work experience. Obviously, starting around July, I will be applying for uni again so I hope to get into uni this time round! By this time next year, I hope to hold at least a couple of uni offers with 2 strong A Levels and an EPQ – and I’d like to be ready to gain my third A Level.
Q4 What Subject Did You Really Enjoy At GCSE But Didn’t Take For A Level?
At GCSE, I really enjoyed Business and Communication Systems (especially Communication Systems because it was basically ICT) but I didn’t take Business or ICT for A Level because I knew it wouldn’t help me with my career path. I also really enjoyed Chemistry but I didn’t take it for A Level, I’m not sure why…
Q5 Any Ultimate Blogging Goals?
Yes, many! My first goal is to be featured in Blogosphere Magazine – that would be amazing!! My second ultimate goal is to reach over 100,000 views because that would just be mind-blowing – I’m currently just over 5000. I’d also like to get some paid work from my blog as well for a brand I really like, that would be good!
Q6 Are you going to university or not?
Yes, I am hoping to go to university! I didn’t get in this year for what I want to do due to circumstances but I am hoping apply again in July/September!
Q7 What A Levels Do You Do?
I do WJEC/EDUQAS A Level Photography, AQA A Level Psychology, AQA Level Three Extended Project and OCR A AS Level Biology currently. Next year I will be completing my A Level Biology alongside my college’s employability programme.
Q8 What’s your major?
I’m still in the equivalent of high school so I don’t currently have a major, when I start uni/college I’m hoping to major in Biomedical Sciences (or any of the others listed above).
Q9 What’s your favourite song?
I’m not sure I have a favourite song… I like Happier by Marshmallow/Bastille and High Hopes by P!ATD… but y’know my playlist has 304 songs in it so it’s hard to choose just one!
Q10 Any brands you’d love to work with on your blog?
So many! I’d really like to work with a brand like Lush as their products are really cool and ethical, and I’d also like to work with a brand like Paperchase because I love their stationery! Maybe a makeup brand like Too Faced as well? Or if Nintendo could sponsor me to play Animal Crossing all day that’d be greattt!
I hope you enjoyed my latest Q&A, let me know if you have any other questions! Do you like the new blog theme, it’s so pink!
