It’s time again for another ‘favourites’ post, hooray! I love writing these posts because I enjoy sharing products that I have been using in the last month or so. Plus, it’s a very ‘blogger’ thing to do I believe! We’re now deep into December but I haven’t forgotten what I loved in November, let me share it with you!
November Favourites
1. New Phone – iPhone XR
At the end of November, I FINALLY upgraded from my very poorly iPhone SE (which was my second one since 2016) to a shiny new iPhone XR and MAN have I noticed a difference!! The battery on my SE was not going to hold out much longer – I had to charge my phone three times a day if I stood a chance of using it above 20% battery. It was tired, slow and a bit battered so I accepted that I needed to lay it to rest. I got paid and me and my mum reluctantly paid off the rest of my SE so that I could upgrade! My XR is so much better! It holds charge AMAZINGLY well, for instance, it is almost 8 pm as I write this and I’ve been using my phone all day and it is only on 62%! My SE could never! The camera is also so much better and its performance is just substantial compared to my tired old phone. The best part – I get 2GB more data and I pay way less a month than I paid for my SE – RESULT!
2. The Body Shop Aloe Face Wash
Yes here we go again, me preaching yet ANOTHER body shop product. Okay, but I haven’t loved a face wash this much since I first used Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser. I love this aloe stuff, it’s so calming and fun to use as it foams up! It leaves my face feeling soft and fresh and it is so gentle on the skin! I’d really recommend it as a daily face wash!
3. Classic Fjallraven Kanken in Pink and Air Blue
I’ve had one of those classic, iconic Kanken bags for a while now, but with one slight flaw – mine was a fake! The quality wasn’t quite up to scratch, despite it being a very good fake, but I expected more! When I got paid the day before Black Friday, I took my opportunity there and then to get a real one as I really liked them! On Black Friday itself, I traveled up to London to go shopping and I found this one in Urban Outfitters on Oxford Street. I use it all the time, except for school as I have a different school bag, because it’s so durable and stylish and holds stuff really nicely. Yes, they’re really quite pricey but I think it’s worth it!
4. Fitbit Inspire HR
For my birthday at the beginning of November, I received a new Fitbit as my old one became a bit ‘worse for wear’. Mine was beginning to become outdated so this was a total upgrade. I love it because it’s so comfortable on my wrist and it’s so useful to have the time there as well. I also like seeing how many steps I’ve done as well – I find it quite interesting. This Fitbit is also water-resistant which is a feature none of my previous Fitbits have ever had, so that’s cool! I really like the feature for setting alarms on it because I feel like it wakes you up more gently than a massive sound in your ear!
5. T’was The Nightshift Before Christmas by Adam Kay
Also for my birthday, I received Adam Kay’s brand new book as I really enjoyed the first book and have even been to see the show and had my book signed! It’s essentially a festive edition of ‘This Is Going To Hurt’ so I knew I was going to enjoy it before I even read it! I like that the books have a very real insight into our NHS, and I think I’d like to work in the NHS so it’s very interesting for me. It’s also comical which is a good thing!
I know this isn’t the longest post, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway! Look out for more posts coming your way very soon!
Thanks for reading – what’s the highlight of your November?
Happy Christmas xxx
