Welcome to my third Lanzarote Travel Blog instalment! I hope you have been enjoying them so far…
Saturday 13th July
Thankfully, when I woke up this morning there was electricity in the villa… unlike yesterday! I went into the lounge area and scrolled through my phone for a bit whilst munching on white chocolate covered Oreos! I got dressed shortly after and ate a banana for breakfast!
Once everyone was up and dressed, we headed over to the marina to have a look at the market there. Again, I saw several cats!! Whilst we were out, we grabbed a drink at the restaurant we ate at last night – I had a cappuccino again! On the way back, we also popped into the supermarket quickly!
We returned to the villa for a short while, and then headed out for a small lunch. We went to another restaurant on the marina, but I can’t remember the name of it! We had a tapas type lunch, so basically we had a small selection of prawns, garlic bread, new potatoes and fishy croquettes. It was quite nice!
Again, returned to the villa and then decided to head out to a beach that was recommended to me by someone on Instagram – Papagayo Beach. It was about half an hour away and to past the time I listened to a ‘According Two’ podcast episode and drank a can of refreshing Coca-Cola! The beach was super pretty, which pristine white sand and clear blue water – of course I had a quick dip in the sea! We didn’t stay that long because I think that my dad was kinda bored or something, but I think we may return another day because it was really nice. I took my camera down there too!
When we, once again, returned to the villa I changed out of my bikini into my sweatshirt and leggings (basically my everyday outfit!!) and began work on this blog post. My parents went outside and chilled in the pool for a while and soaked up the sun!
After this, we decided to go and have another couple of games of bowling as we enjoyed it yesterday. I didn’t play as well as I did before! We then headed to dinner at a little Italian Restaurant. Of course – I had pizza and my dad had this gigantic ‘volcano’ pizza which was very very spicy (he force fed me some hahaha!). For dessert, I had a latte!
Once we’d finished dinner, we quickly went to the shop to grab some bubble bathy stuff so that I could have another warm bath to clear my sinuses again! I also put some Vick’s Vaporub in it too!
I hope you enjoyed this latest post – more to come tomorrow!
