Happy June, we’re officially halfway through 2019…
Yes, I’ve only really just published my April Favourites in the last week or so, but now the time has come for me to publish my May Favourites! A couple of the items are college related, but the rest are the kinds of things I would normally include in my favourites:
May Favourites
AQA A Level Psychology Revision Guides
These revision guides have been super helpful for me whilst revising for my Psychology A Levels. They are written by the same people who wrote my textbooks and they have a very similar design and layout.
I love these revision guides because the evaluation for each spread is set out exactly how you’d write it in an essay (12/16 mark) question! It’s perfect for making essay plans and, of course, it covers all the vital information. It also has super handy tips as well!
I don’t actually own these, I borrowed them out of my college library! If you do AQA Psychology then these are a must have – especially if you use the matching text book!
You can get them at Waterstones and on Amazon:
New Nintendo 2DS XL & Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Animal Crossing isn’t a new favourite, I’ve owned various games for years! I’ve got Animal Crossing: Wild World, which is original DS/DS Lite edition and Animal Crossing: New Leaf*, the 3DS edition, which I’ve had since it’s came out (pretty much) in 2013. Recently, I’ve started playing it again!
My old 3DS was getting a bit dated, I’ve had it since 2012. I traded it in at CEX to get a New Nintendo 2DS XL. I went for a 2DS because I never use the 3D feature, and it supports exactly the same games! I managed to get an Animal Crossing edition of the DS as well – perfect! It’s a really nice cream and minty green colour and it’s perfect for playing Animal Crossing!
If you’d like a new DS, I recommend you check out GAME or Amazon for brand new ones, or if you’re on a bit of a budget CEX or eBay are really good too! The game you can also get at these places!
Seneca Learn
One of the Biology teachers at college sent out a link to this site, Seneca Learn, to aid our revision and I thought that I’d give it ago. I actually really like it, it’s very useful for covering the whole spec very quickly and you can see what you need to work on. You learn without really realising you’re learning!
If you’re doing GCSE/A Levels, I think this is a very useful tool!
Victoria’s Secret/PINK
I made my first ever Victoria’s Secret order in May and I don’t regret it! I ordered a cropped jumper, which I find I’m wearing a lot now, some joggers as I didn’t have any, some leggings which are now my new favourite leggings, a sports bra and two pairs of underwear that are super comfy! The stuff can be quite expensive but I think that they’re fairly good quality and all the things I got are super comfy and are going to get a lot of wear!
I hope you enjoyed my recent favourites post! I’m hoping to start writing some more interesting posts soon and also I hope to improve my images!
