That’s right, you guessed it – time again for my monthly favourites! There were quite a lot of things I liked, and disliked, within March – but today we’re going to focus on the positives! Here are some of the things that I LOVED in March:
March Favourites
1. Too Faced ‘Better Than Sex’ Mascara
I’ve heard a lot about this mascara, and it wasn’t until I started getting annoyed with my £2 waterproof Collection mascara going clumpy that I considered investing in it. It was quite a risk to take to be honest, I mean £19 for a full sided or £11 for a travel sized one, it had to be worth it y’know. I took the risk anyway and made use of some great student discount to invest in both the original and waterproof formula! Honestly, I thought it was worth it – best mascara I’ve ever owned! The waterproof one can make my eyes a little itchy at first but then I’m absolutely fine! I’ve worn at least one of these every day since I bought them! 5 stars from me!
You can purchase from: Too Faced, Debenhams, ASOS – and more!
2. Urban Decay ‘Naked 3’ Eyeshadow Palette
Sticking with the makeup theme – I also decided to launch myself into the world of eyeshadow! You may have seen on my last favourites post that I featured the Makeup Revolution Nudes Palette, which I think is great for £8, but I wanted to invest in some trustworthy eyeshadow that I knew I’d get a decent use out of. I’ve seen the ‘Naked’ range of palettes EVERYWHERE and I always lust over them every time I go to the Urban Decay counter at my local Debenhams – I just had to get one! Again, it was a bit of a risk money wise, but I’m glad I took it. It even came with a little eyeshadow brush, PeRfEct! I chose the Naked 3 palette as I felt it had the best range of shades I’d actually use, there are so many different ones though.
You can purchase from: Urban Decay, Debenhams, Feel Unique – and more!
3. Mini Whiteboard
I’ve had a whiteboard in my room that I occasionally use for blog planning, but it isn’t very travel friendly! My college had just started selling mini whiteboards, pens and rubbers for just £4 and I SNAPPED that deal up straight away! Having a mini whiteboard is great for revision and it saves so much paper. My psychology teacher get us to use whiteboards all the time in lessons so I think it’ll be mega useful when I’m going back through all her PowerPoints to for my revision!
I bought mine from my college library but you can also get them on Amazon or some stationery stores!
4. Just Dance 2019 – Nintendo Switch
As part of her mother’s day present, I gave my mum a Game voucher for our shared console – a Nintendo Switch (I gave it to her early hence why it’s made the March Faves!). She chose to get Just Dance 2019 as we really enjoyed all the Just Dance games we used to have on our Nintendo Wii (and Wii U). I forgot how much I enjoyed it, and I also signed up to a 30 Day Free Trial of Just Dance Unlimited which gives you access to most of the songs from previous just dance games! Ubisoft – I might have to take you up on that and take out a subscription because I love all the dances from the old games I used to have!
You can purchase from: Game, Amazon, CEX – and more!
5. Co-Op Iced Coffee
I discovered this in March and I didn’t expect it to taste as good as it does! It’s now my go-to iced coffee! For only one pound too! Honestly, not even costa can live up to this it’s super convenient! I can grab it on my way to college as there’s a Co Op on the way to the bus stop, and I can grab it whilst at college too as there is a co op only a few minutes down the road!
6. Nikon D5600
I finally upgraded my camera in March, from my 5 year old, heavily used D3200 to a shiny new D5600. Not only is it a newer camera in general, but it’s also a higher specification than my old camera (slightly more professional I guess but still entry level). It even has a flip out screen which is going to make YouTube SO much easier! I believe that the image quality is much better too!
I hope you enjoyed the latest post!
Thanks for reading – what are your favourite products?
Great list! I have a whiteboard in my room which is a lifesaver, so maybe I should look into getting a mini one, and I don’t have Just Dance 2019, but I have the 2018 variant on the Switch and it’s brilliant 🙂
Great post – looks like some nice products! I have always been fans of whiteboards, as they help me study for exams without wasting a bunch of paper (which is important as I am on a journey towards zero waste!). I also have a huge whiteboard calendar in my room, and it is perfect for keeping track of my busy (and ever changing) schedule! Thanks for sharing!
