Hey!
So on Tuesday you saw ‘What I love about Christmas’, so it’s only natural I tell you what I hate…right? I have a feeling that not many people are going to like this post, or they’re going to disagree with me… but I’m going to do it anyway!
ONE: The Food…
Christmas is very food orientated and I don’t particularly enjoy food so I find that there’s actually a lot of pressure to eat loads of turkey (which I don’t even like THAT much) and chocolate (which makes me feel ill after a while) and just food in general. I find this quite difficult to deal with sometimes and so it’s quite a negative aspect of Christmas.
TWO: The Pressure…
This is sort of similar to the last point but I find that people are under so much more pressure to do things around Christmastime, even though it’s supposedly a time to relax and have fun… Hmmm…
THREE: Shopping Centres…
Yeah, so EVERYWHERE gets busy and I guess it’s understandable as people want to buy gifts for people but it’s the arrogance that gets me. Everyone seems to become a stressed, angry shopper around Christmas. I think this leads to the ‘pressure’ point.
FOUR: The People Who Struggle…
I mentioned this briefly in Tuesday’s post.. so many people are in high spirit, yet so many, if not more, people struggle at Christmas and I think there should more support for this!
Yes, so overall I do like Christmas, but there are always these kind of things at the back of my mind. Sometimes I think that Christmas isn’t as perfect as what people make it out to be!
There’s only THREE more posts now until CHRISTMAS! Yay! (see I am excited!)
See you on DAY TEN!
