I am very aware that this post is VERY LATE! I apologise and I hope you enjoy it! I did write this a while back but never got a chance to take pictures, but here you are:
Ah, it’s time for my monthly favourites again, whoop! I’m sorry that it’s a little late in the month – my blog writing has been a little bit delayed by starting college again! But, let’s get straight into it – what did I like in August?
August Favourites
1. Medify
I had to begin preparing for my UCAT exam, which I’m taking at the end of September, in August and Medify has been PERFECT for that! I have a few UCAT/UKCAT books which have all been super helpful, tips wise, but in terms of practicing the actual questions, Medify has been an absolute lifesaver. You can select different types of questions from timed and untimed question banks without having to do a full two hour mock, of course, that option is available too! I think that this is really good for working on your weaknesses and a whole bulk of my prep has been using this! It costs £40 for a month’s access but t r u s t m e it is worth every single penny. I’m going to do a full review on this soon, as well as an e-book that I have used as well!
2. Co-Op Mini Pizza
My new favourite meal right now is those mini 59p pizzas that you can get from the supermarket! They’re the perfect size for me as I only have a small appetite and stomach. They also cook super quick as well so they’re good for if you’re short on time. I ate a significant amount of these in August!
3. Turtles All The Way Down by John Green
I spent a large chunk of time in the car in August when I was travelling to and from Scotland and so in this time I read Turtles All The Way Down! I thoroughly enjoyed it and I definitely want to read it again sometime – I think I’m going to do a separate review post on it!
4. Snow & Fog Candles from TKMaxx
At the end of August, I bought some autumnal candles from TKMaxx and they are SO NICE! I love the autumnal scents and they were affordable too! I bought three or four overall and I went through one very quickly as I loved it so much! I’d definitely recommend TKMaxx/Homesense for seasonal/scented candles!
Well then, that’s what I enjoyed in August! I’m sure there’ll be a September one heading your way soon and hopefully some other interesting posts too!
