It’s June! We are halfway through 2019 – wow that’s gone quick! At the beginning of the year, I set some 2019 Goals. Now that we’re (over!) halfway there – I’d like to do a quick review to see how I’m doing so far:
2019 Goal Review
Improve Gymnastics
I think I’ve hit this goal already as I’ve gained a couple of new skills – and back pain – recently! I’ve got a couple of competitions coming up at the end of June and the beginning of July so I’ll really be able to show off what I can do there. Hopefully, it will be an improvement on last years because although I placed well my routines were extremely sloppy!
Get Good Grades In Psychology, Photography and EPQ
Obviously, I haven’t had any results back yet so I’m not sure if I’ve hit this goal yet. I’ve had the internal moderation for EPQ, and I think I got a B which is good. I also got a B in 60% of my Photography A Level. The Psychology and Photography exams have gone fairly well so hopefully I will get some good results!
Pass Biology
I need to pass Biology (E or above) in order to progress into the second (A2) year. Hopefully I wrote enough in my exam to warrant me a pass! I’ll find out on the 20th!
Apply To University (again)
UCAS Apply 2020 recently opened, and as soon as I get the word from college I will be onto that and applying for uni again! I’m quite excited – I have more uni open days coming up too!
Get Back Into Blogging
I think I’ve been okay at blogging this year, but I think I can improve. I’d like to get back into posting once or twice weekly again!
Gain 100 YouTube Subs
As well as blogging more regularly, I think that I also need to film more regularly because I haven’t gained many subscribers this year!
Save Money
I’ve been selling a few bits on Depop to make some extra cash – and I’ve also put all my savings onto my Monzo card and frozen it so I can’t access it!
Be Healthier
Even though I signed up for Parkrun, I’ve actually only done it once and I did enjoy it – but now I coach gymnastics on Saturday Mornings and cannot make parkrun anymore. I have been to the gym a few times though and I’m always on my trampoline!!
So that’s what I’ve managed to achieve in six months, and I’ve still got six to go! Hopefully I can hit all those goals by December!
